FRED BROWN
Senators Pitcher 1903, 1909 - 1910

Frederick E. Brown was born in Rio Vista, California, and pitched for the Sacramento Senators in the first season the Pacific Coast League was formed. He went to Tacoma in 1905, after the team was moved there, and played for the San Francisco Seals in 1906. He returned to Sacramento to play for the Senators on the outlaw California League in 1907. He led the league in pitching, with a 24-6 record. When Sacramento returned to the PCL in 1909, he continued to pitch for the Senators for another two years.
