TOMMY HEATH
Solons Manager 1956 - 1957
Thomas George Heath, 5' 10", 185 lbs., was born in Acron, Ohio, on August 18, 1913. His major league career consisted of a stint as a catcher with the St. Louis Browns of the Amerian League from 1935 to 1938. In 1939, he was purchased by Syracuse, in the International League.

He managed the San Francisco Seals, in the Pacific Coast League from 1952 to 1955. The Seals never finished better than 15 games out of of first place under his leadership. When he managed the Solons, they finished fifth in 1956 and seventh in 1957, 23 and 38 games back of first place respectively.

Heath died in Los Gatos, California on February 16, 1967.
