Walter J. Pocekay
Nineteen year old rookie Walt Pocekay performed well for the Oaks in Spring training. The native of Richmond, California is a hot prospect for the Acorns' outfield in the 1948 season. In need of a little more seasoning, however, he will be farmed out for part of the summer and brought back to Oaks Park when needed.
