RAY FRENCH
Senators Shortstop 1925 - 1934
Raymond Edward French played in the PCL for Portland, Seattle, and Vernon before becoming the Senators' regular shortstop in 1925. He played for Sacramento for ten years before being traded to the Oaks in 1934. He went on to manage in the Ohio and Mountain State Leagues, and later umpired in the Pacific Coast League for ten years. He is a member of the PCL Hall of Fame.
