James J. Lewis, from Waverly, Ohio, played for the Seals in 1909 and 1910, before coming to Sacramento to play in the Senators' outfield midway through the 1911 season. He stayed through 1913, hitting .252, .288, and .286 in each of his three years in Sacramento.
